For the pass part I had to write a brief description of what these hardware components are and how they are used for digital graphics. Mouse- This is an input device which is used to point on icons and to click on links to open web pages.
A mouse can be used in Photoshop to create and edit images. Monitor Mobile Phone, PDA - A monitor is another input device which is used as a visual device which means that it is being used to see all of things on your computer.

Graphics Tablet Compare With Mouse - A Graphics Tablet is a device that enables you to draw images and graphics which are similar to the way that people draw images with a pencil and paper. This is similar to a mouse because it uses a stylus and a mouse pad.
Digital Camera- A Digital Camera takes high quality images because of the automatic flash; you can then upload photos to your computer by using a USB cable. You can then put your photos into Photoshop to improve them. Scanner- A Scanner scans images and printed text to convert it to a digital image.
You can then put these images into Photoshop to improve them. Flash Cards- These are small data storage devices that use a Flash memory chip to store data.
Some examples of data stored is music, text and images. USB Storage- USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable with them physically much smaller than a floppy disk.
I also wrote about how these Hardware components below affect the performance of a computer when graphics are being edited. Hard Drive- This is the main storage device on your computer wer you store all of your software programs and data including all of your music and pictures.
Graphics Cards- A Graphic Card also called a Video Card is an expansion card in your motherboard that generates a feed of output images to display. The final thing which I done for the pass part was to describe Photoshop and Paint. For the merit in Task 1 I then compared the limitations of two hardware components and two software packages.
The last thing which I done for Task 1 was to research about new and emerging technologies including 3D TV's and Smartphone's. In this I had to explain the features and limitations of file formats in the pass section including: Types and uses of file formats Different file sizes The benefits and limitations of these Describe two file format compression techniques Then for the distinction I then described image resolution and colour depth with some examples for each of these.
Grades achieved for Assignment 1: I then described the suitability of Photoshop, file formats, image resolution and the colour depth which I picked. Assignment 2 Task 2 I have completed P5 for Assignment 2 Task 2 were I had to get feedback from a classmate of my images and then I made the relevant improvements.
I showed all of this in a table and wrote how I done all of this. I have also just completed my P6 were I had to create a Powerpoint Presentation to indicate my chosen themes and why I picked them.
Grades Achieved for Assignment 2: P3,P4,P5,P6,M2 Summary During Digital Graphics I have learnt many things which include the different hardware components that affect a computer system and some of the different software packages.
I also found it interesting researching about the new and emerging technologies which are coming out. I then went out and took pictures with my digital camera of 2 themes and enjoyed editing them in Photoshop.C++ Core Guidelines.
